This weekend was one of those weekends that reminded me just how much I love what I do and especially the people it has brought into my life.
For the past year Iโve been lucky enough to work closely with Hollys Heroes - an incredible charity that brings moments of happiness and joy to children and families affected by cancer.
Through working together, Iโve also become good friends with the wonderful Emma, who created Hollyโs Heroes after sadly losing her beautiful daughter Holly.
On Friday, I had the pleasure of attending the Hollyโs Heroes charity golf day, which had the most amazing turnout. Then on Saturday, the gym I train at Grit13 - Small group personal training Ascot held an event for Hollyโs Heroes, where I found myself not only competing but judging too.
Two completely different days, but both filled with people coming together for the same reasonโฆto support Emma, remember Holly and help this incredible charity continue doing what it does for so many children and families.
It was genuinely so special to see.
There are lots of reasons I love running my own business, but the friendships it has brought into my life are something I will always be grateful for. This weekend was a lovely reminder of that.
