In 2006 I was trying to find a guitar teacher for our son, but didn’t know where to start. There was nowhere at that time where local businesses were advertising - I had spotted a gap in the market ..... and ‘Around Ashburton’ was born. I am so grateful to all the businesses in Ashburton, and from surrounding towns and villages, that have supported me over the years and helped the magazine go from strength to strength. Every two months 3500 copies are delivered to homes and businesses by our wonderful volunteer distributors.
