⚙️🪚🔨The Spelthorne Shed, provides an equipped workshop and place for local men (and women) to come together to learn, maintain or develop their practical skills in woodwork, metalwork and more. Being involved with the shed can help maintain routine and sense of purpose after retirement and reduces isolation.

The Spelthorne Shed is located in Fordbridge Park in Ashford. If you'd like to find out more then why not join them at their open day on 5th August from 2pm.

💜Next month the Admiral Nurses will be visiting Hounslow for 3 special clinic sessions.

These dementia specialist nurses are able to advise on the condition, its symptoms and progression and can offer guidance on how to support someone living with dementia.

So pleased to be working in partnership with the wonderful Nostrano Lounge, Staines to host an Over 60’s Disco Afternoon. 🪩💃🕺

It’s a dementia inclusive event for the over 60s - with carer’s, loved ones and friendly faces all welcome.

Its taking pace on Wednesday 10th December, 4-6pm at Nostrano Lounge in Staines. There will be music, dancing, nibbles and tea and coffee all for you to enjoy, while alcoholic drinks can be purchased from the bar.

So why not let your hair down, enjoy the music from the 60s and 70s, great company and vibrant community atmosphere.
