We’re looking for diverse actor/models to feature in an exciting online promotional video for an amusement park. We want fresh, unique faces and strongly encourage applicants from ethnically diverse backgrounds, LGBTQIA+ communities. Great if you want to apply as a couple of as friends.

Requirements:

Aged 18- 40
Based in Kent, UK (no travel fee)
Comfortable on camera and able to take direction well.
Available to shoot on x 1 day (5th/6th or 7th April- TBC)

We won an award!

It may have been the oscars in Hollywood last night but we at Modus Film had our own excitement getting to see our film 'Under the Umbrella' on the big screen at The wonderful The Ashford Cinema

Not only that but we were awarded 2nd prize ! £250 Kit hire from Screen South to go towards our next project! 🙂

Such a wonderful initiative to inspire us as filmmakers to get out there and get creative! As well as meeting lots of other local creatives. Watch this space to hear about our next creative project together.

This exhibition showcases the incredible artistic talent within our community, featuring a diverse range of works from local residents across the TN postcode area.

We had a great evening capturing the opening and meeting some of the Artists.

As filmmakers - we’re super excited to be working on Turner Contemporary’s next exhibition resistance conceived by multi-award-winning British film director, producer, screenwriter and artist Steve McQueen! Watch this space!

Our next exhibition, Resistance, is conceived by Steve McQueen, the multi-award-winning British film director, producer, screenwriter and artist.

Steve McQueen emerged as a powerful voice in British art during the 1990s, winning the Turner Prize in 1999 before moving on to filmmaking with ‘Hunger’ (2008). He made history as the first Black director to win the Best Picture Oscar with ‘12 Years a Slave’ (2013). His anthology ‘Small Axe’ (2020) brought to life stories of London’s West Indian community. After ‘Grenfell’ (2023), his haunting tribute to the Grenfell Tower tragedy, McQueen's latest film ‘Blitz’ (2024) returns to a key moment in the capital’s history, exploring life during the World War II bombing raids.

‘Resistance’ further deepens McQueen’s investigation into the past, revealing how acts of resistance – both celebrated and forgotten – have shaped British history.
