Congratulations to everyone that came to our lovely sunny fun show today. You are all champions in your own right but ADRA champion 2025 goes to James and Ginge! Thank you to Brenda for hosting and judging.
We hope to see you all in 2 weeks for our fun dog show and then our last ridden event of the year our handy pony/trec comp first weekend in October

Saturday 6th September 10am Start, Oakhouse Farm, Appledore. £5 a class, please enter via paypal. [email protected] by Weds 3rd evening, so we know we have entries.

1) Best turned out, open to all.
2) Best riding club horse/pony (separate rosettes for
3A) lead rein/assisted;
3B) rider 16 years and under and
3C) over 16/senior members)
4) Horse/pony and rider best suited to one another
5) Family Pony
6) Best in show, a free class open to each 1st place rider in above classes.
7) Fancy Dress, open to all

9) Rider and Groom, will be run over x pole course
10) 45-50cm
11) 60cm
12) 70cm

Congratulations to everyone that came to our fun gymkhana and barrel racing this morning. We were all done and boxed up by midday to beat the heat and thankfully there was shade and a breeze today.
Lovely to see members, new faces and old members today.
We had a mix of races. Walk trot canter walk, bending, sock race, flag race, egg and spoon, mug race, ride and run, points of the compass and crossing the river.
Gymkhana Results were
1st Lexi and lady
2nd James and ginge
3rd Robyn and Skye
4th Ami and Meg

Barrel racing

4th Ami and Meg

Well done to you all thank you for coming and hope you had fun.

* Update to say thank you to those who have messaged me, we now have 5 entries *
We only have 2 entries but we are going ahead with the gymkhana on Saturday. It would be really nice to have a few more people come along and just have a fun morning.
We plan to have normal gymkhana games like bending, egg and spoon, walk and trot, ride and run etc and will finish them off with no pressure points of the compass and crossing the river.
Barrel racing will follow for those that want to do it.
Its all fun, no pressure and everything will be explained.
It starts at 10am at Oakhouse Farm, Appledore and is only £5 for all the gymkhana games and £2.50 for barrel racing, so a cheap morning of fun.
All in the arena so no risk of being bolted across the field.
You are welcome to be lead, have assistance or whatever you need to make it a relaxed and enjoyable morning with rosettes to all.
Please come and have a fun morning whilst supporting the club.
