🔥 WHAT AN AMAZING FIRST MONTH AT TWELVE06 🔥

It’s difficult to put into words what this first month has meant to us.

We fought incredibly hard to bring Twelve06 into fruition. What started as an idea — to create something completely different for Newbiggin — eventually became a reality.

And then, if we’re being truthful, we got off to a bad start.

Things didn’t go the way we planned. We had problems to overcome, decisions to make and moments where we simply had to adapt and find a way forward.

But we did.

We kept going. We worked through it. We believed in what we had created.

Then on 8th August, the Mongolian Grill finally went live. 🔥

And everything changed.

The response since then has genuinely blown us away.

We knew the concept was different. We knew some people wouldn’t quite understand it until they experienced it for themselves.

And that has probably been the best part…

Watching people come through the doors unsure of what to expect. Seeing them choose their ingredients, create their own bowl and watch it hit the grill.

Then seeing their faces when they actually taste it.

Hearing people talking around the tables about the food, the atmosphere, the views and the whole experience.

That’s when you realise all the battles were worth it.

We’ve had incredible reviews, returning customers and people travelling to Newbiggin specifically to experience what we’ve created.

We took a risk.

We brought something completely different to our little seaside town.

And you embraced it. ❤️

To every single person who has eaten with us, had a drink on the terrace, left a review, shared a post, recommended us to somebody or simply walked through those doors — thank you.

And to our team, who kept going through the difficult days and worked unbelievably hard to make this place what it is — thank you.

This first month has taught us a lot.

We’re still learning. We’re still improving. And we’ve got so much more we want to do.

But for now, we’re going to allow ourselves a moment to look around at a busy restaurant, hear people laughing, see bowls hitting that grill and appreciate what we’ve actually built.

An ancient fire has truly been lit in Newbiggin. 🔥

This is only the beginning.
