Over the 1st and 2nd of March, members of the official Ashton United Supporter's Club will be walking the 40 miles from Hurst Cross to Matlock Town's Proctor Cars Stadium, for our Northern Premier League fixture, in order to raise funds for Ashton United In The Community.
Here at Ashton United, we are not just a football club, we are very much a football family and as much as we support our team on the field, there is so much more going on away from the beautiful game.
As a group of football fans, you generate relationships that are more than you see in everyday life. Week on week you go through the same highs and the lows together as one, and it does nothing but bring you closer together.
As an organisation, the Supporter's Club has gone from strength to strength over the last few years and we want to be able to contribute back to the community that makes our club the great place it is.
Over the next 12 months, Ashton United In The Community and Partners will be providing the below services to the people of Hurst and District, with the support of our volunteers. The funding we are looking to raise by doing the sponsored walk is to support these events and ensure that as many people as possible are given opportunities to get involved
