Bloody hell, long time no see! How are you all?

I've gained almost ALL my weight since June/July.

Hmmmmm, something tells me the second has failed....

Apparently, (according to ) it's because I'm not working with the dietician. I'd say it's because I have zero restriction. Not even a little bit. And due to disability, I can't walk.

Also, to add context, I'm not working with the dietician because I've just had my third spinal surgery in 12 months.

Surely, even despite this, the balloon should fill my stomach, so I can't possibly eat enough to gain 34lbs in 12 weeks???

Well, I have. And apparently, the balloon is there and fully inflated. But it couldn't be seen on xray....
I was referred for a CT scan, and apparently, it shows it, but they won't send me a copy, I'd have to drive 2 hours to see it in person.

Complaint letter sent. I will update you in due course.

Hiya guys, My back has gone again. I'm awaiting the results of my MRI scan. However, it's likely I'll need more surgery. I'm eating s**t, as I can barely walk, so my weight is increasing. The second balloon is doing NOTHING. I feel like it's not there at all. I ate a 12" pizza the other night.... with my first balloon, I would have managed only a slice. I've emailed and I'm still waiting (almost a week) to hear what Dr Bassi says. Their nutritionist has been great, but I'm really disappointed with the overall experience, to be honest. I could have gone direct to a nutritionist and not paid nowhere near £4k
In absolute honesty, I regret spending all that money on the balloon. The first one went early, and the second one may as well not be there.
I'm not in a good place at the moment, and I've let my nutritionist know, and she has sent me some links for healthy grab and go snacks and meals.
Again, Marta, my nutritionist, has helped me more than the balloon...so what was the point in having it?
It's there as a tool, I agree, but if the tool doesn't work, then what?
I'm just sad. I am disappointed to be back on the yoyo dieting.
Not what I expected at all.

Thought I'd start a new era and a new week with a new colour scheme.

My balloon went a while ago, but I'm pleased to say I'm still 14st 2lb, despite not eating very well since my surgery.

My total balloon weight loss was 29lb, which I don't think I would have managed alone, so in that respect, it was worth the cost.

I really wanted 42lb, but it wasn't meant to be.

I am still aiming for 42lb, but I'm going it alone.

Wish me luck 🤞
