Thank you very much to for our amazing day out visiting the cragside House and gardens a Victorian Tudor Revival country house near the town of Rothbury in Northumberland, England. It was the home of William Armstrong. We also walked on the hydropower walk, discovering William Armstrong's engineered lakes and experimental technologies that were created to produce hydroelectricity and power hydraulics.

The formal garden was in full bloom with plenty to see, including the pond and flowerbeds.

Cairngorm National Park, the largest national park in the United Kingdom. We visited Loch Morlich with picturesque mountainside. The beach sits at the foot of Cairngorm and you can bask in the sun on a summerā€™s day or take in the views of the snow capped mountains on a winters day.

FallsĀ ofĀ FallochĀ is a 30 ft high waterfall in GlenĀ Falloch, near Crianlarich in Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park. Just a 5 minute walk from the car park through the woodlands, this beautiful waterfall comes into view.

The Kelpies are two large steel horse-head sculptures located in Falkirk, Scotland, each standing 30 meters tall. They represent the mythical kelpies from Scottish folklore.

Standing up close to these and walking around the base of the Kelpies brings into context the magnificent architectural engineering, time and dedication in bringing these steel horses to life at night.

The Kelpies do change colour at night in harmony with seasonal changes, events throughout the year, they didn't change for us but was so magical to experience.

Edinburgh - from its historic attractions and cultural events to its vibrant neighbourhoods and outdoor adventure. We toured Edinburghs historical attractions. Strolled down the green mile. Experienced street artists. Entertainers and culture from around the world.

Loads of parking available at Edinburghs Park and ride. We choose to park and tram into the city.
