I’m a firm believer that if you have a bad drum sound you have a bad recording.

There are so many factors that go into achieving this. The drums, the heads, the tuning, the room, the mics, the gear… but non of these variables matter if the performance isn’t passionate and believable.

This all comes from putting the work in and wanting to achieve the very best possible results every time.

This drum session was a prime example of that.
