Ungar - Ashokan Farewell | Performed by Evans Chou (Official Music Video)

‘Ashokan Farewell' is a musical piece composed by the American folk musician Jay Ungar in 1982. The tune was used as the title theme of the 1990 PBS television miniseries The Civil War.

This arrangement is an edition for solo violin, featuring virtuosic double-stops and chords that add hints of harmony to the iconic melody. Performed by Evans Chou.
