Introducing Colin Dunlop: Your TUV Candidate for Bann:🗳️
Colin Dunlop was raised two miles outside Articlave and has strong family ties across the Bann constituency, particularly in the Garvagh area.
He was educated at Hezlett Primary School before attending Coleraine Boys' Secondary School.
A self-employed welder and fabricator by trade, Colin has built his business through hard work, dedication and practical experience. He understands the challenges facing local workers, farmers, small businesses and families across rural communities.
Colin has been a lifelong supporter of Ulster's cultural heritage and is an active member of Moneydig Young Conquerors Flute Band, Agivey LOL 361, Third Tree Walker Branch, Garvagh, Apprentice Boys of Derry, and Star of Bethlehem RBP 504, Garvagh.
His family has a long tradition of service within the Loyal Orders and the band scene. His late grandfather was Band Master of Movenis Flute Band, while his mother, aunts and uncles were all members of the band. His grandfather was also one of the founding members of the Third Tree Walker Branch, Garvagh, Apprentice Boys of Derry, a legacy of commitment to faith, culture and community that Colin is proud to continue.
Speaking following his selection as the TUV candidate for Bann, Colin said:
"I am honoured to have been selected to stand for the Traditional Unionist Voice in Bann. Having been raised in this area and with deep family connections throughout the constituency, I understand the issues affecting our local communities. I believe Bann deserves strong, principled representation that will stand firmly for the Union, support our rural communities and speak up for ordinary working people. I look forward to meeting voters across the constituency and earning their support."
TUV East Londonderry Candidate councillor Allister Kyle said:
