🌟 Introducing Katie 📸

Hi, I’m Katie and I’m the owner & lead photographer at Bramble Bay Creative. Although this business is new, my experience of professional photography covers around two decades!

Starting from A-Level, age 16, I then went onto achieve a BA Hons Degree in Photography, Video & Digital Imaging from the University of Sunderland. Aged 18 I started paid work as a children’s sports photographer and had some time as a nightclub photographer (rite of passage!)

I moved into wedding photography during my final year at uni, and in my career so far I’ve photographed hundreds of weddings. From tiny elopements, where I’m also called as a witness, to multi-day, 700 guest weddings, including as far away as Florida, France & Holland. I’ve also captured hundreds of family shoots, been on the finish line of the Great North Run and organised large scale styled photo shoots with multiple suppliers. I’ve captured conferences, celebrities and so much more I can’t even recall!

In 2015 one of my photo shoots went viral around the world and was featured on all the major press and on TV and in print as far away as Australia, New Zealand & China.

After becoming a parent in late 2017, I have slowed down a little with my camera 🤣 In 2019 I started capturing more property photography and really enjoyed it.

I have gained experience with helping to market a family holiday home and been booked multiple times to photograph luxury properties. It’s something I very much want to do more of, which is where Bramble Bay Creative comes in.

I’ll be sharing a bit more about the development of the business and where the name came from soon… for now here’s just a few snippets as my time as a photographer so far.

🏡 Just a little update on our availablity for holiday home / glamping site photography ! 🌟

We only have one space left in May & three for June.

All of our bookings have an introductory phone or video call (your preference) first, plus the photoshoot day and editing. Therefore we limit the number of bookings taken on per month to ensure space, time to communicate and to honour turn around times of photographs for you.
