GENERAL ADVICE for Shakespeare In Love
It is show week and what wonderous weather we are forecast.
If thou intendest to grace one of our humble performances, prithee take heed of these few advisements, that thy evening might be most wondrous and well-contented:
• Bringeth with thee folding chairs, rugs for the picnickers, or soft mats upon which to repose.
• Though the sun may shine warm and golden, when he taketh his leave and slippeth beneath the horizon, the air may turn chill — a cloak or blanket shall serve thee well.
• Some of our fair venues do offer victuals and drink for coin, yet thou may also choose to bring a supper of thine own devising, laid out in merry picnic fashion.
• Within each performance's programme lies hidden a single Golden Ticket — he who findeth it shall be rewarded with special favour, granted by the noble patrons who sponsor our show.
• Thou art welcome to take likenesses by way of the camera, ere the play or once the final bow is made — yet we beseech thee, refrain from capturing the performance itself in image or motion.
Parking of thy chariots must be done so with sensitivities afforded to other users, local residents and the rules of the road.
• And lastly, kind guests, no umbrellas, nor tents, nor great marquees may be raised, lest they offend the sightlines and spirit of the gathering.
There are still a few tickets left, available from www.castleplayers.co.uk
