πͺ Here's a statistic that should make everyone stop and think...
After 30, we lose around 3-8% of our muscle mass every decade.
By our 80s, some people will have lost up to HALF of the muscle they had when they were younger.
Yet people still tell me they're "too old" to start strength training.
I'm going to be blunt...
If you spend decades doing nowt for your health, don't be surprised when you need other people to do things for you later.
Nobody wants a 20-year-old wiping their arse at 80.
I'd rather spend my later years travelling, chasing grandkids, getting outdoors and actually enjoying the retirement I've worked for.
Getting older is inevitable.
Becoming weak, frail and dependent isn't.
The choices you're making today are building the body you'll live in tomorrow. π
