The daffodils are waving their last farewells in the sharp breeze while the dazzling lime green of the beech gives promise of what’s to come.

Farewell to March, a month full of promise.
Dancing daffodils, magnolia and camellias in bloom.
The first of the moorland’s newborn lambs finding their feet.
Blue skies one day, bitter winds the next.
Moments of warmth, then a sharp return to cold.
A month that never quite settles, but always hints at what’s to come.
