Another Worthy Community Group let badly down by East Renfrewshire Council's Policy of saying one thing verbally then returning to their Office and doing another.

Eventually this Council will be dissolved for sheer corruption.

If you are involved with East Renfrewshire Council get EVERYTHING in writing before the Official makes up easy Lies to leave your Meeting.

Weather has cancelled some outdoor events but still plenty Indoor Fun to be Had

🎄🎡 Important Update on Winter Wonderland Event 🎡🎄

Sadly, due to the predicted high winds, we’ve had to make the difficult decision to call off the outdoor market and funfair section of our Winter Wonderland event this year. The Grinch has struck again, and he's not just stolen Barrhead's Christmas tree—he's also stolen the fun! 😡🎅 But don’t worry, we’re still bringing the festive cheer to Barrhead!

Here’s what is still going ahead:

🎅 Santa's Grotto – Our magical Santa's Grotto will still be open in the Foundry from 12-5pm, with a special quiet hour for those who prefer a calmer experience from 11am-12pm.

🎨 Kids’ Crafts at the Library – Get creative from 12-5pm at Barrhead Library. Perfect for little ones to enjoy some festive crafting.

🎨 Free Face Painting – Our talented face painter will be at the Foundry from 12-5pm to make your little ones' faces sparkle with holiday cheer!

🎄 The Grinch is Back! – The Grinch himself will be causing his usual chaos around town—so watch out, he might try to steal your Christmas spirit, but don't worry, he loves a good photo op! 😆

🎉 Scavenger Trail – Starting on Saturday and running all week, take part in our Scavenger Trail for your chance to win a £50 prize and help us get Barrhead's tree back from that pesky Grinch! 🎁

We may have lost some of our outdoor fun, but there’s still plenty of Christmas magic to enjoy indoors. Come along and join us in the heart of Barrhead for a wonderful time—Grinch and all! 🎅💚

The result for the East Renfrewshire constituency in the UK General Election has been confirmed.

Blair McDougall (Scottish Labour Party) has been elected as MP for East Renfrewshire.

It is important you use your Vote. Make sure you take Photo Identification.

Out of the many Issues you face to allow you to use your Democratic rights. We at Pulse 98.4 would like you to at least consider the lack of support given to a Community Radio Station from Chris Lundy, Tom Arthur and Today's Candidate Kirsten Oswald in making your decision. The affront of These People saying they are all about Barrhead and the surround and yet when asked they did nothing should be considered in where you place your vote at least.

We wish all candidates the best of luck and ask you all to make sure you make your voice heard.

Six Months ago. East Renfrewshire Council took over our home they had promised us for life because they found a use for the building. We are not surprised that the building lies empty untouched and not in use. Kirsten Oswald MP, Tom Arthur MSP and Councillor Chris Lundy you allowed a thriving Community asset to be bullied and victimised by Mark Ratter, Joe McCaig, Jim Murray and Gerry Mahon all Council Employees without recourse.
