✨ A little throwback to where it all began… ✨

The cake at the top was my very first red velvet and heart cake. ❤️

It took 3 bakes to finally perfect the sponge and several attempts to stop the cake being wonky 🤣🙈. I honestly remember being SO proud of it and thinking it looked amazing 😂😂

And you know what? I’m still proud of it today. 🥹❤️

Because it reminds me of how far I’ve come.

I started my baking page just a little over a year ago, never really knowing where it would take me. What I do know is that baking came into my life at a time when I really needed something that was mine — and it genuinely helped me through one of the toughest years.

Now, creating cakes fills my cup in a way I never expected. 🧁✨ I’ve found something I truly love, something that allows me to be creative, and something that brings so much joy.

So if you’re still searching for your thing, I hope you find it. ❤️

I hope everyone gets the chance to discover their true passion and their happy place — because there really is something so special about finding it. ✨

Here’s to progress, messy beginnings, wonky cakes and never giving up. 🥹🎂❤️

I was definitely in my happy place making this lambert heart cake for my in-laws birthday last week. It was 2 layer lemon sponge with lemon curd filling 🍋.
