Cardiff is a great city and there are some brilluant businesses there. This the the beautiful facade if Wyndham Arcade. Back in the late 80s we had a design company called The Business and that bank of double windowson the right to the ground floor were our offices. Brilliant town centre location.

I think local councils have little or no appreciation of running a business. Seeing so many good business being basically extorted. The Welsh government pretends to be business friendly but their actions indicate otherwise.

In Business Wales

We launched our first magazine, Vale Life, in the Summer of 2007. We are passionate about south Wales and the people living and working in it.

We champion of local, independent businesses and it’s no secret we’re not fans of chains and supermarkets. We believe the individual character of any county, village, town or city comes from within, not a conglomeration of ‘brands’ that have been cloned around the country.

We're not a franchise either - how rude to even suggest it! - we’re a home grown, family-owned, compact and bijou publishing company. InBusiness is our B2B title.

We also publish City Life (Cardiff), Gower Life (Swansea & Gower), Wye Life (Herefordshire & Monmouthshire) and West Life (Pembrokeshire & Carmarthenshire), plus a host of websites, and a social media following currently approaching 250,000. Digital editions of our magazines are read in over sixty countries with our high quality publications enjoying several million page views. We’re launching more Life titles in the near future plus there are some exciting digital products in the pipeline. We aim to spend at least 90% of our turnover back into South Wales. To date we have surpassed this target every year. Wales is a beautiful country and we want to ensure it stays that way, both culturally, spiritually and environmentally.
