Anyfish Anywhere GT Pro.
Right here we where do I begin.
After months of hard work, testing, meetings, and countless hours of development, I'm incredibly proud to finally be able to talk about the new Anyfish Anywhere GT Pro.
First and foremost, I'd like to thank Ben Price, who was the driving force behind this project from the very beginning. Ben's vision was simple: create a rod that bends beautifully, has a forgiving and responsive tip that suits his style of casting, and delivers a blank that anglers of all abilities can enjoy and benefit from. His determination and commitment to getting it right were instrumental in bringing this rod to life.
I'd also like to thank everyone at Anyfish Anywhere for allowing me to play such a significant role in the development of this rod. Having worked alongside the company for many years, and being involved in the rod-building industry through Angling Ambition Custom Rods, this project has been a real passion for me. I've invested hundreds of hours into testing, evaluating, and refining every aspect of the GT PRO ensure it was ready for release.
Anyfish Anywhere has been producing some of the finest rods in the country for over two decades, trusted and used by many of the UK's top anglers, so it was essential that we got this rod absolutely right.
From the very first prototype through all five phases of production, the GT PRO was subjected to extensive testing. I put the rod through its paces across a huge range of fishing situations, casting styles, venues, species, and applications. Every time a prototype came back, Owen and I would cast it, assess it, discuss any changes, and go back to the drawing board if there was anything we weren't completely happy with.
One of the most exciting aspects of the project was incorporating the first glass-tip design into the Pro Series range. Designed primarily for clean to mixed-ground fishing, the GT PRO is a rod that will appeal to anglers of all levels, offering excellent performance and versatility.
To ensure every angle was covered, we also brought Jansen into the process as a dedicated fixed-spool angler. His feedback and input were extremely valuable and, thankfully, very positive throughout the final stages of testing.
The end result is a rod available in both fixed-spool and multiplier versions, giving anglers the option to choose the setup that best suits their fishing style.
I'm incredibly proud of what we've achieved and grateful to everyone involved in making this rod a reality. I genuinely believe the GT PRO is something special, and I can't wait for anglers across the UK to get their hands on one when it launches later this month.
I hope you enjoy fishing with these rods as much as we've enjoyed creating them.
