What's everyone's thoughts on holding fish out to the camera?

Me personally I don't mind it, not with the intention of making the fish to look bigger than it is. But I think it just puts emphasis on the fish, which fundamentally is what I think we all like too see. I love seeing fish. I hope you do too.

Meet my training partner Richard The 1st. He's over 60 and puts a huge shift in everyday despite his miserable body language he's great company. He was quick to point out my muscle wastage on my left calf from the last 5 weeks. I was very surprised.
I train 4 times a day for 3 days with my focus solely on conditioning due to many long term injuries. Each session I'm with different people, if they turn up. Otherwise it's just me and my motivation.

It's so true, come on admit it. I remember this day well!! Dam I missed some bites which cost me.

We've all lost fish that we swear we're Goliath monsters!! But in reality might of just been average fish combined with our fisherman's imagination 🤣🤣🤣

I do miss a lot of bites, and loose my fair share of fish. Does that make me a bad angler? Or are the odds just evened out?

The humble silver eels (or green eel, depending on the stage of its life cycle) used to be the staple target in the summer months for us match anglers in South Wales from Newport to Penarth.
Sadly the last 15 years has seen an astronomical decline in numbers. They're not everyones favourite but I used to really love fishing for them.

This year out of nowhere we have seen a big increase which I personally am happy about.

I landed this one last week at around 1lb 8oz it's the best I've had for some years. Even though when I was a kid fish to almost 3lb would of been the target.

The last week has been a cruel and emotionally challenging week for many different reasons. I have battled and remaining strong I will keep making positive content for you all to enjoy and engage in.

Thank you for the views, likes and shares etc. it's a minor positive as we conclude a tough week and with several factors ongoing I will do my best for myself and the people who chose to be in my life. Tight lines and have a great day. I'm grateful for your time.
