As previously announced, we’ve made the difficult decision to close DB BBQ Group.

This journey has been full of highs, challenges, and above all, the support of an amazing community. The feedback on our food has always been incredible, but unfortunately, the order volume and rising costs meant the business simply wasn’t sustainable long term.

We want to thank every single customer, friend, and family member who supported us along the way. Your loyalty, encouragement, and kind words have meant everything.

It is with great sadness that we have to announce the closure of DB BBQ Group kitchen inside the Castlemayne.

This has been an incredibly tough decision to make, and one that comes with a heavy heart. From day one, our mission was to bring authentic American BBQ to Basildon, and to share our passion for great food, community spirit, and unforgettable flavours.

We want to take this moment to thank every single customer who supported us, whether you popped in for wings, ordered a platter, shared a post, or simply cheered us on. Your loyalty and love meant the world, and without you we wouldn’t have made it this far.

To our family, friends, and the amazing people we’ve worked alongside, your belief and backing have been everything.

While this chapter is closing, the memories and connections we’ve built will always remain. DB BBQ Group has been more than just food, it’s been about people, pride, and community.

Two of Basildon’s biggest American BBQ specialists teamed up for a one-off collab menu: DB BBQ GROUP + Grill & Bark . The smoke was heavy, the meat was unreal, and the vibes were next level.

🎤 To top it all off, the incredible Amanda Rogers lit up the patio LIVE with her voice.
