The physical health benefits of cycling are widely reported and acknowledged.
Cycling is known to improve heart health and reduce chronic disease risk, alongside maintaining mental wellbeing and cognitive function.
In fact, in a recent review by Walker et al., researchers noted that 70% of research papers reported a positive correlation between cycling and cognitive function i.e. mental ability, in 45+ year olds.
Clearly cycling can keep not only our legs, but minds sharp too!
