The Roman Baths is one of the finest historic sites in Northern Europe, and one of the most popular tourist attractions in the UK.

Constructed in around 70AD as a grand bathing and socialising complex, the Roman Baths is one of the best-preserved Roman remains in the world, where 1,170,000 litres of steaming spring water, reaching 46°C, still fills the bathing site every single day.

Chillin at Mount Erciyes 🏔

Erciyes, with an elevation of 3916 meters, is a volcanic mountain whose summit is always covered with snow and fog, and has become synonymous with the city of Kayseri 🇹🇷

This lava-spewing mountain, responsible for the 'fairy-chimney' rock formations in nearby Cappadocia, impressed the Meek people living at its base so much that their coins bear an impression of the mountain with lava boiling out of the top. The first person to successfully make the summit was W. J. Hamilton in 1837, and the first Turk was Miralay Cemil Cahit Bey in 1924 🧗‍♀️

Wimbledon Aced 🎾

It was great to be back at the centre court to watch the most prestigious tennis tournament in the world.

Did you know Wimbledon is the only Grand Slam tennis event held on grass?

I made some amazing friends standing in the great British queue to lift the collective mood.
