Hello 👋

A little self‑portrait today.. Lots of layers, colours, scribbles, textures, and a whole lot of fun.
I used a mix of techniques simply because I just couldn't decide what I liked best.. and actually, that feels exactly right as it kind of sums me up rather well!

I loved making this. It felt like giving myself permission to experiment, to play, to let the messy bits sit alongside the polished ones.

A reminder that we’re all a bit layered, a bit colourful, a bit unexpected… and that's exactly where the magic lives ✨

A feeling so many of us know far too well..

It’s okay if everything feels a bit “too much” today. You don’t have to hold every piece of life perfectly to be doing enough.

This is the necklace I wear more than any other.. My neurodivergent brain tends to run at full volume - thoughts stacking, sensations piling up, life pulling me in all directions. Some days it feels like I’m juggling a dozen invisible things at once, even when nothing “big” is happening.

There was a moment, not long ago, when I found myself standing in the middle of that familiar swirl - half-finished tasks around me, a mind that wouldn’t slow down - and instead of pushing through, I just paused. I realised that feeling overwhelmed isn’t a sign of weakness. It’s a sign that I’m carrying a lot, caring a lot, trying a lot.
