Traveling alone isn’t lonely—it’s freeing. There’s a lot of things that solo traveling can do that being in a group setting cannot.

4. Learning more about yourself than you thought possible
5. Creating memories that are completely yours

9. Signing up for last-minute activities because why not

I can’t lie, even I am impressed at how many countries I squeezed in while studying abroad in London 😭✈️⬇️

One thing nobody tells you is how easy it is to hop around Europe when you’re based in London. I was gone almost every weekend and wanted to take advantage of exploring.

I started with places like Denmark, Norway or Amsterdam in mind, but after seeing other posts, I swapped them for more affordable spots, which was the best decision ever 👇🏽

How I traveled THIS much on a budget:
✈️ Book flights early on Google Flights
🎒 Only pack a personal item
🚇 Public transportation everything
🥪 90% grocery store meals
🏨 No luxury stays (lol obviously)
💰 Saved every cent before London
🍽️ Didn’t eat out in London for 2 whole months (not worth it to be honest)
🛫 Took the cheapest flights (even red eyes)
🎁 Bought more souvenirs in cheaper countries
🔗 Used Hostelworld, Airbnb, & Booking
👯‍♀️ Split hotel costs when possible
