Thank you to our friends and supporters who came to to see our Double Bill of David Lean’s Brief Encounter and our Documentary Briefest Encounters - the Untold Love Story on Tuesday night. 🎬🎥

It was a really special event and Joanna’s three children were there. Skye hosted the Q&A afterwards with Luke, Joanna and actor Sedona Rose. Her son Merrick came over from Barcelona and he got a shout out for his beautiful movie poster.

We have plans for an Autumn tour with Picturehouse and we will keep you updated.

Briefest Encounters is making its London debut tomorrow, Tuesday 5th May 2026 at Picturehouse Central. 🎥

A decade ago, an artist found a bag of diaries at a vintage market which belonged to actor Cyril Raymond who played the betrayed husband in David Lean’s iconic film Brief Encounter. 🎬

In our documentary Briefest Encounters which has its London Premiere at Picturehouse Central in just three days time - Helen Friel recalls the moment she came across these forgotten mementos which helped piece together an untold love story. ♥️

A great day filming in the heart of Wells ☀️

We spent time at the The City of Wells Almshouses capturing stories from trustees, staff and residents, bringing to life the real impact of this special place. Filming in this beautiful Cathedral city was a really meaningful day for us. ❤️🏡

Screening our Northern debut of Briefest Encounters in York was memorable for many reasons. ❤️

It felt like a homecoming for Joanna”s late father Nicholas Crosse who lived and worked in Yorkshire and was in the Mystery Plays and a major fundraiser for the York Minster. In fact, he was given the honour of having an heraldic crest put into one of the windows and Joanna and Luke went to see it.
