Yearling Irish Sports Horse Filly to make 16hh minimum

Sophie is a truly special young filly – brave, bold, and incredibly kind-natured, with a resilience that’s impossible to overlook. Born in early May 2025, she is expected to mature at 16hh+ and is already standing at 14hh, showing all the signs of a quality horse.
She is out of Moneyglass Diamond, a stunning 16hh Irish Sports Horse mare with outstanding breeding, including direct lines to Connacht Diamond, Diamond Lad, and King of Diamonds. Sophie is by a Connemara stallion, combining athleticism, temperament, and versatility.
Sophie’s journey is nothing short of remarkable. She was rescued from Worcester Horse Auction in September 2025 alongside her mum, both in extremely poor condition. At just four months old, Sophie was heartbreakingly being sold separately. On arrival, both were immediately seen by our vet. Sophie was critically ill with a severe infection and high temperature, and her chances were uncertain. But she proved to be a true fighter – making a rapid and full recovery, showing the strength and spirit she carries today. With the help of a small fundraiser, part of their veterinary care was covered, and since then Sophie has gone from strength to strength.
Sophie sadly lost her mum in February, but has coped incredibly well. She had time to process and has since thrived in a herd environment. She is living in a mixed herd of mares and geldings. Happy to come into the stables on her own for fuss and food.
She is well-socialised, confident, and happy in her surroundings. Sophie is a pleasure to have around.
