The last couple of weeks;

1, Charlotte's first recording session. Excellent work!

2 and 3, Glenn's mix project. The waveforms image shows a neat trick Logic can do. Here are two guitar tracks recorded 20 years ago. The timing between the two was a little off. So, Logic can create a quantize map from the 1st waveform which I used to quantize the second waveform. Boom!

3, I have a new box set out of all my work from 1990-1994 and all the remixes since. A 10 piece vinyl set with USB and mix on audio cassette. Brilliant!

4, I also finished a remix for Kniteforce Records as well.

A nice mixing job today.

Glen Goring has a track that he recorded and mixed himself in 2008.

Unfortunately, we were unable to locate the original data, so I extracted the stems using an online AI tool - LALAL

It worked really well! In the screenshot you can see the 4 tracks I extracted, fixes to timing issues and the spot FX we added later.

Amazing!

Instructions on how to record guitar in stereo, gain staging and overdubbing.

Once he's made the recordings, I'll mix them at the studio.
