I have a DJ gig this weekend and this is my set up.

I also have a walking pad that goes under my rising desk so I can get my steps in while I'm stuck behind a computer!

Will Silver starting the recording process for his extended album.

The secret to a great recording is a great player. It is the person playing the instruments that makes the 'sound'.

Will has a punchy, groovy playing style and a legitimately individual voice. This I like!

Because of the style of music, I choose to record the ambiance of the room we were recording in. This means I can add in a more 'live' sound as and when. This is shown in the picture of the 2 black mics in blumlein setup.

The last couple of weeks;

1, Charlotte's first recording session. Excellent work!

2 and 3, Glenn's mix project. The waveforms image shows a neat trick Logic can do. Here are two guitar tracks recorded 20 years ago. The timing between the two was a little off. So, Logic can create a quantize map from the 1st waveform which I used to quantize the second waveform. Boom!

3, I have a new box set out of all my work from 1990-1994 and all the remixes since. A 10 piece vinyl set with USB and mix on audio cassette. Brilliant!

4, I also finished a remix for Kniteforce Records as well.
