🚂✨ All Aboard the September Issue! ✨🚂
To mark the 200th anniversary of the Stockton & Darlington Railway 🎉, we feature a remarkable 4mm scale model depicting the entire route of the line in the 1820s – first built for the 150th anniversary back in 1975! 🕰️ Restored to its former glory, it’s now on display at the Hopetown Darlington Railway Museum 🏛️.
Also celebrating Rail 200 👉 Making Tracks 200 at Chester Cathedral ⛪ – Pete Waterman and his Railnuts team return with their stunning OO gauge Watford Junction layout.
🚉 Railway of the Month: Buckhorn Weston for Shaftesbury – an extensive OO gauge ‘might-have-been’ station on the Salisbury to Exeter main line.
Other layouts include:
🔧 Blowers Green (O gauge wagon repair yard, 1970s Black Country)
🌉 Helland Wharf (OO cameo of Wenford Bridge branch, Cornwall)
🚪 Archenfield (an OO layout weaving through multiple rooms and even a linen cupboard!)
🛤️ To tie in with the new TT:120 Ventnor West station kits from Peco, we share a track plan and drawings of the Stroudley ‘Terrier’ 0-6-0Ts 🐾 that worked the branch.
