FROM DAY PLAYER TO SERIES REGULAR.

Just over three years ago, Allison Harding (an accomplished and incredibly talented theatre performer) signed with Shelley Lowry Talent with a very clear goal: to build and develop her screen career and increase her television credits.

Three years later, we couldn’t be prouder of how far she has come.

Since joining us, Allison’s television career has continued to grow, progressing from day player roles to larger screen opportunities and now to a SERIES REGULAR role in a much-loved television series.

Allison is currently filming, with the role taking her right through from September until Christmas.

It is exactly the kind of career progression we love to see: talent, experience and opportunity building steadily over time.

Allison is wonderful actor and an absolute joy to represent. We are enormously proud to have supported her over the past three years and to see her hard work translating into such a significant screen role.

A very exciting chapter, and thoroughly deserved.

We are delighted to announce that our client Dave Elliott has secured a sitcom-writing deal with one of the industry’s most respected comedy production houses — his biggest writing deal to date.

Dave previously had a comedy pilot commissioned, and this new deal marks a significant step up, building on that early success with a full sitcom commitment from a major production house.

This achievement caps an outstanding year for Dave, who continues to tour nationally with his stand-up show and has taken on a strong run of television acting roles. His move into sitcom writing marks the next stage in an already impressive and varied career.

Dave is also a committed supporter of Action Mental Health, giving his time and platform to raise awareness and support the charity’s work.

We are proud to represent Dave and look forward to sharing further details on the sitcom in due course.

We’re thrilled to celebrate another exciting step in Connie Woods’ growing screen career, with Connie now confirmed for a role in a major television series.

Connie also recently appeared as Hannah in Collision for RTÉ Storyland.

We first met Connie through our two-year Spotlight Accredited Training Programme, where her ability and potential were clear.

The programme is designed to give emerging actors the skills, experience and industry understanding needed to take the next step in their professional development, and it has been wonderful to watch Connie continue to build an impressive body of screen work.

CASSIE MONE - NEW TV ROLE

A huge congratulations to our brilliant Cassie Mone, who will be heading to Dublin to film an exciting new television series!

Cassie continues to build a fantastic screen CV, with credits including Lisa McGee’s How to Get to Heaven from Belfast, in which she played Cara across four episodes, and the comedy series SisterS, playing Billie.

We’re delighted to see Cassie adding another television credit to an already impressive and growing body of work.

After a successful recall in London, our wonderful client Sophia Kelly has now also been offered the lead role in a separate production — meaning she has secured two lead roles in quick succession!

We first met Sophia when she joined our Spotlight-accredited training programme, and it has been a pleasure to watch her develop as an actor and, subsequently, to represent her professionally through Shelley Lowry Talent.

Our school and agency are separate entities, and participation in our training programmes does not guarantee or automatically lead to professional representation. Representation is considered independently based on a range of factors, including an actor’s suitability and readiness for the professional industry.

Sophia has worked exceptionally hard, and these recent successes are thoroughly deserved.

Neil is widely recognised for his role as Sergeant McCloskey across all four series of the BAFTA winning Blue Lights, alongside credits including How To Get To Heaven From Belfast, Say Nothing and Game Of Thrones.

On stage, he gave a particularly standout performance in the Lyric Theatre’s production of The Importance of Being Earnest.
