We're thrilled that 'The Baby Factory Is Closed' directed by award winning artist (Neon) and produced by (Aura Digital Studios) will have its world premiere and be in competition at 2026.

Built in Unreal Engine 5 for Quest HMD's, the XR experience delivers high fidelity real-time environments with fully interactive cinematic storytelling in Virtual Reality. The piece further integrates bio-haptic feedback, biometric interaction, gesture and scent, creating a fully mutl-sensory encounter, with original composition and sound design by Northern Irish Composer .

'The Baby Factory Is Closed' was made in support from .screens.ni and NI.

It is part of the Future Art and Culture programme at SXSW produced by British Underground and Arts Council England with partnership support from the British Council, alongside receiving a British Council Large VR Travel Grant.

Aura is seeking volunteers to test out our new Augmented Reality App, Voyage AR!

Voyage AR is an Immersive app prototype highlighting the heritage of the HMS Caroline, Docked in Belfast’s Harbor. The experience leads you on a walking trail from the salmon of knowledge to the HMS Caroline.

The prototype was created in partnership with HMS Caroline, Belfast City Council, Hub-In and the Maritime Belfast Trust.

Participants will need to own a smartphone and be able to download an app from the app store, as well as walk a small section of the Maritime Mile.

Tea, coffee and refreshments will be provided as well as free car parking.
