Following a seven-year sabbatical, iconic American pop starlet Katy Perry’s back on the road again with ‘The Lifetimes Tour’ and two dazzling sell-out shows in SSE Arena that were extravagant high octane feelgood spectaculars 🦋✨👙.
Talented Canadian singer-songwriter Goldie Boutilier played support for the Fruit Sister, bringing with her an all-girl band and awesome tuneage laced with glamour, doomed romance and melancholia 👱🏻‍♀️🌟.
Shout-out to the Mermaid’s loving sister-in-law for treating her to a gals night of music, dance and revelry - thank you dear Julie-Anne 🥳👯🥂💃🏽🥳🥰🙏🏽!

Mermaid Susan was delighted to make the acquaintance of two sista thalassophiles on her recent adventures in Portugal 🌊🧜🏼‍♀️👯…
Bronze ‘Monumento Aos Descobimentos Portugueses’ was striking looking, albeit a tad more interested in gazing out searchingly upon the vast Atlantic Ocean from her lofty perch on Cascais’ Ribeiro Beach than chatting 🏖️🧐🤭. While the creator of this handsome statue isn’t specified, it’s the town’s tribute to the golden era of Portuguese maritime exploration and fishing, symbolising the deep connection of Cascais with the ocean 🗺️⛵️🧭🎣🤝.
Slightly less put-together looking, but no less fascinating was acclaimed visual artist Paula Rego’s ‘Nymph of The Seas’ 💦🧚🏽✨. This textile nereid sculpture appeared to have led a tough life, and yet, held on fast to her sass - way to go, girl 🦸‍♀️🖐🏼.
Mermaid Susan will be rising out of Belfast Lough and floating into Belfast 89 Towers at 7pm tonight and is hoping you’ll be able to join her then. She’ll be playing lush classic hits from the 60s, 70s and 80s, including croon-tunes of course seeing as it’s Thursday, and chattering away about all things land and sea and air until 10pm 😅🎧🗣️🎙️♥️.
