I still remember the time when I heard about a place called Dublin. Yes, that was around 25 years ago, when Westlife was so popular, and I was a big fan of theirs.

As time went on, I got busy with uni life and work, and life carried on. I came to Northern Ireland in 2018, but all those Westlife memories have faded with time as priorities have constantly changed, along with my enthusiasm for music.

Then, on my twins’ second birthday, we went to celebrate it in Dublin, and it struck me: this is the place where the people who influenced my love of pop music came from! Coming here was once just a dream, and it didn’t even occur to me that it would indeed come true! Well, I was there… just a few days ago. 🇮🇪☘️🍀

Before, I would panic when I couldn’t book an extra shift. I made sure to have an extra shift almost every week, even when it meant no time to rest, and the reason alone was to earn more.

I loved doing extra shifts because it meant there were additional pounds on my regular pay. As I kept exhausting my body, my whole being started to feel the repercussions. I am nearing my late 30s, but my body seems to be in its 60s.

Thus, I stopped doing extra shifts since I started my online business plus I get to spend more time with my kids.

I am not saying that doing extra shifts is not good; if you can and you are happy, go for it. But it is also noteworthy to consider your well-being; after all, we only have one body.

And the good news? You can add more sources of income without the need to hassle your work schedules. Imagine still enjoying slow mornings on your days off while having the potential to bring in extra income from the comfort of your home.

Just like the analogy of one IV line to two or more IV lines, it’s the assurance of having another line if the other one doesn’t work. What do you think?

At 08:02 AM two years ago, our first baby was born, and after 19 minutes, our second one followed.

It was and is a wonderful blessing for which my husband and I are continually grateful.

Today, we celebrate both of you. Today, we are emotionally overwhelmed as we can’t believe how time has passed, but we look forward to every day that we can spend together.

We have no fancy dresses for you, no fancy birthday party, and no fancy gifts, but we get to make more memories together.

Iris and Isla, happy, happy birthday!

I give glory to God for everything, even the details that are often unnoticed. Without His grace and mercy, Jemry and I wouldn’t have managed to come this far because we were never on our own looking after our precious ones.

The UK government has introduced various initiatives that significantly impact migrants like myself.

One of the key proposals involves extending the duration of stay to 10 years before being eligible to apply for indefinite leave to remain (ILR), and the plan to elimination of ILR as we know it.

As a healthcare worker, I have also seen and heard the repercussions of the current changes within numerous healthcare settings. Many nurses, both in the NHS and private sector, are facing job losses due to budget cuts, and their work visas are not being renewed.
