Hoping this month’s salary is like the giraffe’s neck… it can stretch far enough. 😄🤭

The stage where kids’ awareness of danger is still not in their consciousness.

My little ones, now in their “terrible twos,” are definitely in a “do not leave them alone” stage. Iris constantly climbs the table and creates chaos with the things on it; she also hops and turns and who knows what else, while Isla, who is not a fan of climbing tables, does know how to stack things so she can step on them and grab anything she sees.

My husband and I can spend the entire day putting them off the table, removing the things they can stack up, keeping things clear, or trying to give them toys to distract them and keep them preoccupied, to no avail.

Jemry then decided to dismantle our dining table, and pew! What a relief! We can at least go to the toilet at ease, eat at the kitchen counter at ease, and relax at ease.

Are we the only house in Belfast without a table?
