It’s National Engineering Day so we’re giving a big shout out to Sir James Martin, the legendary Northern Irish engineer who literally changed the course of aviation history.

Back in 1945, Martin pioneered the ejector seat - an invention that has saved over 7,600 lives. That’s not just clever engineering… that’s Northern Irish innovation at its absolute best! 👏
