Our Story

We are a Belfast based radio station, providing a mix of music and speech as well as hourly news bulletins. We are owned by Wireless Group and launched at 6 am on Monday 14 November 2005.

U105 broadcasts on 105.8 FM in Belfast and surrounding area, from the Black Mountain transmitting station, located a few miles to the west of Belfast. You can also listen to U105 online, DAB and on the app!

U105 is also home to some of the most experienced and popular presenters in Northern Ireland, Maurice Jay, Frank Mitchell, Carolyn Stewart, Johnny Hero & Jerry Lang along with the many excellent presenters who provide a wide range of specialist shows.
