Cruise ship Viking Jupiter anchored in the bay off Bangor at the mouth of Belfast Lough yesterday. Part of the Viking Ocean Cruises built in 2019, the Viking Jupiter weighs over 47861 gross tonnage, 748ft long and 95 ft wide, she holds over 930 passengers and 460 odd crew. some day I'll take a cruise 🤔

Some photos taken beginning of August of the impressive King Johns Castle or Carlingford Castle, in Carlingford, County Louth, Ireland. Built in the late 12th century, by Hugh De Lacy, King John, the younger brother of Richard the Lionheart apparently stayed in the castle in 1210ad. Done an official tour and found the castle had survived numerous attacks over the years and the last attack on the castle was by Jacobites attacking the castle as it was held by Williamite forces under the command of the Duke of Schomberg.
