A friend of mine was falsely accused of pe******ia by his ex. He was later acquitted, but the damage was already done. Neighbors attacked his home and dragged him outside along with his innocent partner.

Since then, his life has become a nightmare. He’s forced to live in hiding, on the brink of losing his sanity, while his partner is close to a mental breakdown.

False accusations of pe******ia destroy lives. They are a serious social plague.

Please, we need awareness and action. This has to stop.

False accusations of pe******ia by women against their exes are a shameful and constantly increasing phenomenon in the UK and Ireland. Many men have been ruined, some of them are serving unjust sentences in prison. Many have lost their homes and jobs and the ability to see their children. Others are victims of all kinds of violence from so-called pe*****le hunters.
