Due to his untimely passing the two tracks were never released until now. I hope these two will do justice to one of the scenes biggest supporters who is still sadly missed today. Vintage Music main man Sunner Soul pops up on Fingerman's Hot Digits label, bringing with him a trio of sample-rich disco-house burners that blur the boundaries between re-edits and original productions. The long-serving Russian artist begins in surprisingly energetic mood via filter-laden disco-house loop jam 'Feel The Disko', which reminded us both of classic French Touch loopers and the fine work of German disco-house don Soundstream, before further raising the temperature - and tempo - on weighty, low-slung slammer 'Sweet Feelings', where chopped and looped disco samples ride a rubbery bassline and tough beats. To round off a rock-solid EP, the St Petersburg-based artist offers up 'Getting Higher', a warmer and dustier slab of disco/house fusion smothered in classy electric piano keys.
