Rory was one of the very first guys to feature way back when the label was in its infancy and since then he has been dropping some serious edit heat on his band camp page. Juno Review: While he's also appeared on Discoholics Anonymous, Too Slow To Disco and Hot Gorilla, Liverpool nu-disco producer Ben Jamin has released much of his most potent material on Fignerman's Hot Digits Recordings. Here he returns to that label with a third volume in his ongoing 'Cosmic Memories' series, in which he delivers tasty, lightly tooled-up reworks of cosmic-leaning disco, soul and funk. After getting things going with the slo-mo, acid-flecked blue-eyed soul/yacht disco of 'Baby', the Liverpudlian reworks a dewy-eyed AOR disco slow-jam ('Brought Us Together') and lollops his way through some raw sixties soul excellence ('Mama'). 'Next Door' is a soaring and suspenseful slow disco-funk gem, while 'Three Steps' is a deep, squelchy and glossy boogie treat.

Here's my recent set for the Black Octopus Birthday Bash at Edit (formerly Tide) in Brighton on the 18th October 2025! It was quite a day for the lads having warmed up for Laurent Garnier earlier in the day and my third time playing for them again! An honour to spin tunes with them and the legend that is Justin Robertson! A great night was had by all and sundry. Hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed playing there again!

It was quite a day for the lads having warmed up for Laurent Garnier earlier in the day and my third time playing for them again!
