Belper Goes Green festival 2022 10-12 June.
I will be installing a Labyrinth in the Wellbeing area. My first since the lockdowns. Poignant on many levels. Come, Walk, Be.
Unity Labyrinth
This Labyrinth is for my Community. It is about our Unity, that which brings us together, our ‘Common-Unity’. There has been so much division over the last few years, and I want us to see past this. Unite once more with our Deeper Selves, and feel into how that connects us with our friends, our families, our Communities, and ultimately the whole of life on our Beautiful Planet.
The White Flags represent Surrender; Surrender to what is; Surrender to our own selves; Surrender into peace and acceptance.
I want my community to take a moment to stop and reflect; Reflect on their journey over the pandemic, but also that of those around them; Take some time to find compassion for the fact that each and every one of us has traversed this Worldwide Labyrinth in our own Unique way; We all made decisions to place our next step in ways that spoke to our own Inner Compass. I'd like those that walk to let go of any judgements they may hold towards those whose footfalls did not mirror their own, and to acknowledge that we all did our best, and we can never know another’s journey.
For myself I will hold the space for those that walk, lovingly supporting them as they reflect. I too will walk, and let my residual sorrows fall gently on the path as I continue to open my heart to new possibilities.
