Had a great day at Duxford the other day when I took to the skies in a two seat Spitfire MK.IX conversion owned and operated by www.aerialcollective.co.uk Along with the loop and rolls performed by pilot David 'Rats' Ratcliffe he let me take the controls for a few memorable minutes over the Cambridge countryside. An unforgettable experience! Great team there and they took time to sign my Airfix TR.9 box after the flight for good measure. If any of you are building this superb new kit I attach a couple of rear cockpit shots to help. Sheer magic!
