Project Highlights:
We have been working with the new owners in the restaurant at eyemouth golf course. Upgrading their Audio and Visual equipment consisting of:

Monitor Audio ceiling speakers cabled to a Yamaha amplifier. Utilising Audio flow to allow individual zones within the restaurant with music being streamed from Spotify.

2 x TV’s mounted with feeds running back to the AV cupboard, connected to sky and a HDMI splitter which allows the TV’s to show the same channel.

A new CCTV system, using HIK’s impressive image quality, giving full coverage and remotely accessible.

We have taken extreme pride on this one and loved every minute although some of those were challenging!

We would recommend a visit to try it out the food looked tasty 😋

Back to work on Tuesday after a weeks holiday.

Been incredibly busy but managed to get everything completed. We’ve installed new Aerial and Satellite systems, wall mounted TV’s, supplied and installed some security cameras for existing customers.

***Project Highlight***

We have recently supplied and installed a new CCTV system for Border links in berwick upon tweed. The system consisted of 3x bullet cameras, 1x dome, a recording box and HIK Vision Monitor.

The bullet cameras are installed at height to give a great overall view of the outside building and the dome is at the front door notifying them who is coming and going. The recording box is connected to their Internet to allow remote viewing and can record for up to 30days (with automatic overwrite)

We were delighted that Lee put his trust in us and is enjoying their new system.

***Project Highlight***
Slightly different post to normal but we wanted to highlight some special projects we’ve recently completed.

Starting with….
Stitchill Village Hall:
Members of the Hall invited us along to see what we could do transform the hall into a cinema/film club - making the system as easy as possible to use so fellow villages can maximise the use of it.

After the initial visit we put a quote in and won the job. Supplying a new Epson projector with Cambridge Audio speakers including 5 satellite speakers and a powerful subwoofer connected to a WiFi Denon amplifier (allowing streaming services).

We fitted the new projector on the ceiling and ran power to allow it to be controlled from floor height. Mounted the 5 satellite speakers in their optimised positions,
Configured and tested the system. We were delighted with the results and so were the villagers who came along for a demonstration.

AV Specialists are not your typical Aerial/Satellite Installers we have a wealth of knowledge within the industry.

Back to work on Tuesday after a lovely time away abroad with the family.

1) New Freesat Installation on a caravan park to 2x rooms

2/3) Wireless point to point to link to send internet from the main house to an Airbnb property in the garden.

6)CCTV installation at Ayton Livery

7) A view from a roof job

8) Satellite system reinstated.

2x CCTV surveys carried out.

“Message from Sky”

We're extremely sorry if you experienced issues with your Sky Q services recently. These issues have been fixed. If you're still having trouble, please switch off your box at the mains for 30 seconds, then back on. For mini box issues, also reboot the main box.

Busy week filled with quite a few Freesat Installations a couple of Aerial jobs and a CCTV job.

We also got tasked to work on something a little different (more to follow).

We are on a weeks holiday now so will see you when we get back. 😁

Busy couple of weeks with some interesting kit.

We cover a large area and even found ourselves at St Boswells for a job which included reconfiguring a top end Cinema system; plus a Marantz amplifier connected to monitor audio 9.2 speakers. All automated with a ceiling lift to house the projector. One touch of a button and the projector comes down from the ceiling and screen also. Within 20 minutes we had managed to figure out the kit and configure it to the clients specifications.

We have also supplied 5 CCTV systems for Residential use to Pubs giving peace of mind.

A Sonos amplifier connected to Sonos outside speakers have also been set up and fitted with a full demonstration given - excellent sound!

Usual Aerial and Satellites job on top of this. To say variety is the spice of life 😁

Lots of work carried out in the past couple of weeks.

Recently I’ve been thinking about time. It’s coming up to nearly 25 years that I’ve been in the tech game starting back in the early Currys days. After leaving Currys I went to work with Sky as a field engineer and then went on to set up AV Specialists.

Over the years I have come across all sorts of issues and have managed to get to the bottom of them. Keeping up with new tech to make sure we can give the best advice.

We are not just Aerial/Satellite Installers. We are AV installers covering the whole of the Tech world.

Had a couple of days off last week with Max being off from School But back to it with lots of interesting Installations.

We’ve supllied and Installed Satellite Installations for both Sky and Freesat.

Taken down storm damaged Aerials and replaced them.

Supplied and Installed a new Projector for Holy Trinity School - which is a major upgrade to their old one. Cable managed their AV cupboard.

Installed Doorbells and Supplied a Wireless link for a local farmer to supply one of his sheds with Internet…..😁

Next week we are looking busy but we still have spaces available if you or anyone you know need any help with tech.
