. ****The Hike of Hope!****
This weekend I joined an amazing group of military men to support a cause which is so very dear and close to my own heart, that over these last few years alone it has often played on my mind too!
Harry, took his own life this year, aged only 21, No warning, no signs and nothing untoward happening in his life!
As a parent myself nothing ever could prepare you for this and working in this trade also it still never ever really resonates with one, Why?
Talking does help, wow this weekend alone helped me personally and emotionally and is men have talked and talked , cuddles and cried, yet male su***de is rife in society and ever growing!
This challenge honestly nearly broke a lot of us, we did complete it well under the 12 hours, the rain never eased up, then wind hit our ears at 40 mph and the views from each summit was none existent, but Harry’s Guardians never quit and often talked of Harry on route!
