MK7 Golf GTD DSG transmission fault, ‘gearbox in emergency mode’ message on dash along with EML light on.

Swiftly diagnosed as mechatronic internal fault, specifically the position/pressure sensors.
Mechatronic unit removed and repaired, refitted along with a gearbox service.
Basic settings and road test carried out. No more emergency mode!

Massive over-fuel on this injector.

VW Crafter camper in today following MOT failure due to emissions and EML on.

Tailpipe full of soot indicating excessive fuel being injected and overwhelming the DPF.

Injectors removed and tested on site.

Back at after the bank holiday weekend!

No spanners to throw around on this Porsche this morning, anybody can do that. Just in-depth diagnostics.

This Porsche was left with a flat battery after 2 days of standing. Not good. By utilising our Draw Monitor tool we were able to measure a drain in excess of 2 Amps.

After tracing the drain and isolating the suspect component we were able to achieve the correct level of parasitic drain. Below 40mA.

New alarm siren required here.

Our in-house DPF cleaning machine has been working hard today.
5 cleaned in total so far!

Here is an example of what no other cleaning process can do. Thats to remove the ash left behind from regeneration that builds up on higher mileage vehicles.

This process back-flushes the DPF to remove soot and ash deposits back out the same way they came in. This deep cleans the entire filter from what has settled in the lower sections.

After all the driveway dreamers have tried all the potions to “clean” your DPF. Give us a call and we will clean it the right way!

Friday and it all goes wrong, snapped glow plug in a V6 Mercedes. 🤦🏻 out with the specialist tools, removal of the snapped glow plug with out the removal of the engine or cylinder head or waiting days for a specialist engineer.

Ford Ranger 2.0 Ecoblue Timing Belt completed today.

Caught just in time too! The timing belt was well on its way to destruction as can be seen with the amount of rubber particles inside the sump and inside the oil pick up pipe.

Full kit installed including timing belt and tensioner, oil pump drive belt, new sump and timing cover etc. All genuine Ford parts used.

2020 model with only 51K miles covered.
