🚨 GRIMSBY | KNIFE ARREST AFTER POLICE FOOT CHASE

A 25-year-old man has been charged with multiple offences after a man was reportedly seen brandishing a knife towards officers on Garden Street at around 11.40am on Wednesday (September 23).

Footage shows police chasing him through the town centre towards Abbey Walk before he was detained on Bethlehem Street. An officer was injured during the response.

Zachary Roberts, of no fixed abode, has been charged with two counts of threatening a person with a bladed article, possession of a bladed article, affray, and possession of a taser.

He is due before Grimsby Magistrates today.

🚨 RAF JET CRASHES AFTER TAKE-OFF AT RAF VALLEY

A Hawk T2 training jet went down near RAF Valley, Anglesey, this afternoon, visibly on fire moments after take-off. Both pilots ejected at around 800ft and are being treated for minor injuries. Jet came down in a field about a mile away.

Had its problems, no doubt. But everyone was one, different backgrounds, same place, united by cars.

It kept people off the streets and built real community.

All it takes is bureaucratic approval. The right location, made safe, properly managed.

Give people something to belong to and watch how much Birmingham cools down.

🚨 SMETHWICK | BRUTAL GROUP ATTACK CAUGHT ON CAMERA

Footage shows a violent group assault on Smethwick high street. It starts with three men attacking one person, using sticks, before more join in as the beating continues.

What caused this isn't known yet.

This bend is wrapped nightly.

The road is 30mph.

The sat nav tells you 40mph.

That is entrapment for sure.

It won't work as a defence though.

Birmingham City Council STILL cannot be bothered to ring up Google and Apple and get them changed.

Happy to punish people as the law is on the councils side as the driver and only the driver is responsible.

Find me a 30mph speed limit sign on that stretch. I dare you. Don't use the lampposts as your excuse tho. I won't accept that as your "get out of jail". No street view either.

Cllr Majid Mahmood, why didn't you fix this misinformation problem during your tenure in cabinet?
