⚡️BRIAN LIGHTNING | SINGLE LAUNCH ⚡️

We're excited to announce that Brian Lightning will be performing at Birmingham’s The Night Owl on Friday 8th September for their first official headline performance.

You can catch-up support from Brian’s big headliner Ocean Ivy, Sancho Panza, and Tuppenny Bunters.

This is set to be a huge night and we look forward to seeing both new and familiar faces there!

Introducing *drum roll please* Frankie S. Gasspipe. The self proclaimed tough guy with a slack jaw spoken word drawl is one of Brian Lightning's captivating characters. ⚡️

Where Brian sings of romance, friendship and crying on a dance floor. Frankie regales exaggerated tales of his years as a petty criminal in 80s Florida. The wide spectrum between these two conflicting characters shows the depth of creativity and the potential for something truly unique.

🪐 MEET THE TEAM 🪐

It's time to draw back the curtain and meet some of the people behind . First up, we have CEO & Founder, Oliver Overton. Olly founded Wah Wah Music Group because he wanted to create a place where artists could find all the support they needed in one place to bring their releases to life. His vision was to bring together a team of experts who can support artists across all areas of their release from media and PR to composition and sound, image and design, and distribution to A&R.

Alongside directing Wah Wah Music Group, Olly specialises in A&R and has worked with a array of Artists such as Swampmeat family band, Tito Jackson, Mike Zito, Stevie Wonder, George Benson, Kym Mazelle to name a few. Olly has released records alongside independent labels Punk Slime Recordings, Swordfish Records, Hillside Global, Gulf Coast Records and major labels such as Universal Music Group and Virgin Music.

INSPIRATION BEHIND THE ARTWORK | BRIAN LIGHTNING'S PILOT 🚬🔥

Brian Lightning is more than just a musician. They are unique performer bringing together magic, performance art, and theatre to create a show which is like something you would have seen before.

The artwork for the debut single, Pilot, features an illustration of one of their signature magic tricks. If you've ever had the pleasure of being around Brian, you would likely have experienced this trick firsthand. The artwork itself was created by Birmingham-based artist Nathan Chan. We're excited to continue supporting Brian to bring their wild and wonderful ideas to life.
