We hosted our fourth session of the Fort Dunlop Sustainability Network this week, bringing together our community of like-minded tenants driving real environmental impact. 💚

This month, we were joined by Clare Chapman, Membership Manager at Sustainability West Midlands, who shared valuable insights into the sustainability support available across our region. It was a great opportunity to explore how businesses at Fort Dunlop can benefit from the wider work happening in the region.

We also began planning a joint volunteering session with the Community Environmental Trust, where tenants will roll up their sleeves to support local green initiatives. We can’t wait to get stuck in! 🤝

Joining Churchill Living on a 12-mile sponsored walk around Birmingham, Whistle’s Emily H, Courtney and Emily P are lacing up their walking boots once again to help raise vital funds for Birmingham Children’s Hospital, a specialist facility that provides expert care to over 90,000 children and young people from across the UK every year.

The walk sets off from Bower Lodge in Shirley and the team will be joined at the start line by the Solihull Observer, who’ll be covering the event.

Team Whistle took on the challenge and walked from Fazeley to Birmingham city centre (a little further than planned!) in support of Smart Works Birmingham and The National Literacy Trust – two charities doing incredible work with Smart Works empowering women back into employment and the NLT helping children build vital literacy skills. 👗📚
