Desh Bhagat University, Punjab (UGC recognized, NAAC A+) conferred Honorary Doctorates on British Parliamentarian Mr. Virendra Sharma for 50 years of public and parliamentary service in the UK, and Advocate Santosh Shukla for 25 years of contributions to public service, education, World Book of Records, and the legal field.
The degrees were awarded by Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Harsh Sadawarti, and Pro Vice-Chancellor Dr. Tajinder Kaur.
