Billed as both a celebration and a strategic roadmap, the event carried the Theme: "Navigating Your Way In/Out of China After Graduation: Contributing to China-Africa Relationship and Development."
The star of the evening? With 16 years of China experience, Prof. Balogun delivered a keynote that was equal parts motivational speech and survival guide—packed with insights only a true China veteran could provide. Prof. Balogun specifically mentioned that Nigerians in China are talented beyond academics and commercial activities, which should create room to bring together Nigerian talents.

Advocacy: Collaborating with Chinese authorities to address student challenges, as seen during his proactive role in COVID-19 outreach 4.
"The Main Representative of ANSIC in Hunan Province ", Comrade Ibioribo Jnr, didn’t hold back to announce that Professor Balogun single-handedly sponsored the entire event. "In an era where support is scarce, men like him are national treasures," Ibioribo remarked.

From Words to Action, True to his reputation as a man of impact, Prof. Balogun didn’t just inspire—he acted, pledging to secure postdoc positions in China for two recent PhD graduates. Talk about walking the talk!
A Grateful Community, The Nigerian student community expressed deep gratitude—both to God and to Prof. Balogun—for his unwavering support. The event wasn’t just informative; it was transformative, leaving attendees with clear direction, stronger networks, and a renewed sense of purpose.
