Black Eyed Sons Announce UK Tour Support Acts
This November and December marks Black Eyed Sons’ first live run since their musical rebirth. The band will celebrate their chart-topping debut album, which reached #1 on the Official UK Blues Chart.
The shows will bring to life the energy and grit of Cowboys in Pinstriped Suits, which earned critical acclaim.
The Cowboys in Pinstriped Suits Tour Part 1, will kick off with two sold-out nights at Hard Rock Hell, before rolling into venues across the country. Joining the band on select dates will be Revenant, while the London Camden Underworld show will feature special guests The Dirty Strangers. More support acts will be announced soon.
“We can’t wait to hit the stage live again and it’ll be great to be able to play fresh new material, plus some tracks not heard live before” says Guy Griffin “I think people are going to be surprised. Looking forward to having Revenant, a great up and coming act along for some shows and our old friends The Dirty Strangers in London".
The band’s debut show at The Lexington last year earned glowing reviews. Metal Talk hailed “ a newfound freedom here in both the writing and playing, the quintet able to stretch out and experiment whilst having a great time too, as the restrictions of the past are left behind.”
Rock News was equally impressed, declaring: “Raw, gritty, and glorious -The Black Eyed Sons deliver a stunning set. They’re not just making music, they’re making a statement!”
For the members of The Quireboys and Down ‘n’ Outz, this project was more than just another album, it was a musical rebirth that transcended expectations and became something greater than they ever imagined.
Black Eyed Sons are Guy Griffin (lead vocals/guitar) Paul Guerin (guitar)Keith Weir (keyboards)Nick Mailing (bass) Pip Mailing (drums)
Ahead of the tour, the band will drop a brand-new single – a new version of ‘Dig Me Out Of This Hole’ on Friday, September 5th, featuring a legendary mystery guest vocalist.

Blues-rock guitarist Jack J Hutchinson releases first single & lyric video ‘Overdrive’ from his upcoming live album ‘Battle Scars’.
Jack J Hutchinson has announced his first official live album ‘Battle Scars’ will be released on 3rd October 2025. The first single Overdrive is released today ahead of his UK tour including 4 dates opening for FM.
Speaking about the track, Hutchinson says “It’s one of my favourite tracks to play live and a big foot stomper that gets the crowd jumping to finish our sets. The lyrics are about those little voices in your head that tell you you aren’t good enough. The message is pretty clear… what doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger!”
The album captures Hutchinson and his power trio, featuring Greg Smith on bass and Phil Wilson on drums, in full flight across 10 tracks taken from his first four solo albums. It was recorded at two dates earlier this year, at the Grace in London and the Tuesday Night Music Club in Coulsdon.
Hutchinson comments: “The album is a big thank you to all the fans who came out and supported me and the band on the road over the last 18 months. Now more than ever independent artists and grassroots venues are dependent on people coming out to shows. We simply couldn’t do it without them.”
“We recorded most of the shows on the run, but these two stood out, mainly because the audience was so fantastic at the dates. There was a definite vibe at these shows, which I think comes across in the recordings.”
Over the last 10 years, Hutchinson has shared bills across the planet with bands including Blackberry Smoke, Neil Young and King King. Audiences can expect lightning fast fret work and hard hitting choruses that smash the blues rock template.
He hits the road this autumn in support of the new live album, including 4 dates opening for FM, before his own headline shows in October.

This as yet untitled EP will be the band’s first as a four-piece.
Crowned Band of the Year at the 2025 UK Blues Awards, praised by Classic Rock Magazine for their “ambition, fire, and killer songs,” and hailed by blues-rock icon Joe Bonamassa as one of his “favourite discoveries,” this powerhouse quartet is now gearing up to release their most dynamic and hard-hitting music to date.
Produced by Tarrant Shepherd and recorded at Global Fire Studios in Fareham, the sessions were professionally filmed for a stunning series of music videos. Each track has also been mixed in immersive Dolby Atmos, creating an incredible fusion of visuals and sound that offers fans a truly unforgettable experience.
Brave Rival are Lindsey Bonnick (lead vocals), Donna Peters (drums, percussion, acoustic guitar, vocals), Ed ‘the Shred’ Clarke (guitars, vocals), and Billy ‘Danger’ Dedman (bass guitar, vocals).
Poison is classic rock at its most electrifying. What began as a playful challenge, (could Brave Rival write the AC/DC anthem that never existed?) quickly became something more powerful than they imagined.
Speaking about the track, lead vocalist Lindsey Bonnick says “When the guys sent me the first demo for Poison, I was immediately inspired. The melody and lyrics poured out of me and by the morning we had our first single!” Guitarist Ed adds “It was Billy who set the challenge to write a song in the vein of AC/DC, or our recent faves, The Southern River Band. What was initially a bit of a ’tongue in cheek’ riff quickly became this huge driving anthem”
The EP will be released this October.
Pre Orders will go live late in August. Sign up to the mailing list to be the first to know when and access an exclusive sneak peak of another new song. https://braverival.com/subscribe/
A launch gig for the EP is set to take place at the legendary 100 Club in London on 15th October 2025, followed by a UK tour.
