This House We Built Release New Album Get Out of the Rain and Premiere Video for New Single “Rain”

Scarborough rockers This House We Built have released their brand-new album Get Out of the Rain, available now on all major platforms, alongside the premiere of the powerful new video for the latest single, “Rain.”

“Rain” marks the fourth single to be lifted from the band’s second album.

The band pushed themselves creatively during the making of the video, which was filmed using a “rain room” and a full water tank setup.

“It was probably the most challenging video we’ve done so far,” says vocalist/guitarist Scott Wardell. “We had a lot of fun with it, but I did have to sacrifice a guitar in the process. Guitars and rain don’t mix, kids, don’t try this at home!”

The video’s concept tackles themes of mental health and emotional struggle.

“It’s about someone gradually fading into a place they don’t want to be,” Scott explains. “The song is that lifeline, trying to help, whether it’s your child, a friend, or someone you love. It’s our way of saying, Don’t give up. I’ll always be watching over you.”

Speaking about the new album, Scott adds:

“We’ve truly put our hearts and souls into this record, and we’re incredibly proud of what we’ve created. It’s been a real milestone for the band. With four singles already released, we’re excited to keep sharing more songs throughout next year and bringing them to audiences across the country.”

Scott also reflects on the evolution of “Rain” during the writing process:

“Wayne had the song musically, but it was missing that anthemic chorus. We all pulled together, Dave Boothroyd added some great creative and lyrical ideas and it became a real band effort building on Wayne’s foundation. It ended up being one of the more challenging but rewarding tracks on the album.”

Get Out of the Rain has already earned high praise from music media. Rushonrock named it Record of the Week, praising its songwriting as “something you’d expect from a major label stalwart with a couple of Grammys under their belt.” Melodic.net called it “one of the strongest releases of the year.”

The release caps off a remarkable period for the band. After three years of relentless gigging, This House We Built have become a “well-oiled rock machine, performing for thousands across the UK. 2025 has seen their momentum surge even further, with standout performances at major festivals including Call of the Wild, Love Rocks, Wildfire, SOS Festival, and most recently Maid Of Stone.

Wille & The Bandits Announce New Album “Salt Roots” and Release First Single & Video “Trouble Round the Bend”


Wille & The Bandits, a band celebrated for fusing styles as freely as they speak their minds are back with their most ambitious project yet with a new album. Salt Roots is due for release Feb 27th, 2026. This ten-track album dives deep into the band’s eclectic musical DNA, from huge riffs that shake the ground to beautiful melodies and grooves that carry you away like the tide, this album is the culmination of everything we’ve worked towards.

Known for their passion for environmental and social justice, Wille & The Bandits have partnered with Surfers Against Sewage, one of the UK’s leading ocean charities, to use their music as a platform for change. Together, they are shining a light on the devastating impact of sewage pollution in our seas and rivers. The message is simple:

Dirty Riffs to Defeat Dirty Seas.

The first single from the album, “Trouble Round the Bend,” is one of the most powerful songs they’ve recorded with heavy riffs, deep grooves, and that raw energy they love to capture on stage. Lead singer Wille Edwards explains “It’s the sound of a band firing on all cylinders. It is heavy because it needs to be. The riffs hit as hard as the reality of sewage being dumped into our seas. That’s why in the video we put ourselves right in it, standing knee-deep in the mess we’re all facing, to show we can’t ignore it any longer”

For Wille, the issue is personal. He goes on to explain “Living by the sea has always been at the heart of our family life. Swimming in the ocean almost every day isn’t just a hobby, it’s how my children and I connect with nature and each other. But lately, that joy has turned into fear and frustration. My family has been falling ill after swimming, and we know that untreated sewage is a growing problem: in 2023 alone, there were over 464,000 sewage spills in England, lasting a total of 3.6 million hours, polluting our waters and putting people’s health at risk. This pollution doesn’t just affect those of us who live here, it takes away the chance for visitors to enjoy the sea safely too. I want to use my music to make some noise about this issue, to amplify our voices and push for cleaner seas so everyone can experience and enjoy the ocean safely. That’s why we’re using dirty riffs against dirty seas.”

Critics have long praised Wille & The Bandits for their socially aware songwriting and musical adventurousness.

From Wille’s early days busking across Australia to headlining stages around the world, the band’s rise has been fuelled by authenticity, innovation, and a relentless drive to push boundaries. Their cross-genre sound has taken them from Broadway to the West End, Kazakhstan to Australia, They were picked to perform at the London Olympics after being voted one of UK’s best live acts; being listed in the Top Ten must see bands at Glastonbury by BBC Radio 1.

The band are William Edwards (Lead vocals, Guitars) Harry Mackaill (Bass), Stevie Watts (Hammond Organ) and Zachariah O'Loughin on Drums.

They’ve shared stages with rock icons such as Joe Bonamassa, Deep Purple, Status Quo, and Warren Haynes, all of whom have praised their musicianship and fearless creativity. Wille & The Bandits continue to redefine what modern roots music can be.

The album was produced by Wille and his long-time collaborator Josiah Manning (Inglorious, Kris Barras, Elles Bailey). Wille and Josiah have known each other for years and always respected one another’s work, so when Josiah suggested they start writing together, it was an easy yes.
Both share a broad musical palette and a deep appreciation for making records in a real, human way, tracking with a live band in the room, capturing the energy, chemistry and imperfections that make the music feel alive. This album is a direct expression of that philosophy.

Massive Wagons Release New Single & Video ‘Everywhere We Go’, Sign new Record & Management Deals in Germany and Announce 2026 UK Tour Dates.

Lancaster’s finest rock export, Massive Wagons, release their brand-new single and video “Everywhere We Go” today, Friday 14th November. The track, packed with the band’s trademark energy and stadium-sized hooks, comes accompanied by a video filmed at the Iconic Winter Gardens in Morecambe.

The single is a celebration of everything Massive Wagons stand for, big riffs, bigger choruses, and a sense of community that runs through everything they do.

Guitarist Adam Thistlethwaite comments on the track “We wanted it to sound huge wherever it’s played... radio, kitchen, or concert hall. Matt O’Grady completely understood that and nailed the energy in the mix.”

Today, legendary guitarist Slash releases his new record, “Live at the S.E.R.P.E.N.T. Festival,” an electrifying, blues-filled live album and concert film, delivering the blues as it’s meant to be – loud, live, and dangerous.

The performance was captured at the Mission Ballroom in Denver, during the July 17, 2024 tour stop of SLASH’s star-studded Blues tour, the inaugural S.E.R.P.E.N.T Festival, an acronym which stands for Solidarity, Engagement, Restore, Peace, Equality N’ Tolerance.

Slash’s Blues Ball band features SLASH on lead and rhythm guitar, joined by longtime collaborator Teddy “ZigZag” Andreadis (keyboards, harmonica, vocals), Tash Neal (rhythm guitar, vocals), Johnny Griparic (bass, backing vocals), and Michael Jerome (drums). Together, they tear through a blistering set of blues standards and rock staples, paying tribute to icons like Howlin’ Wolf, Booker T. & the MG’s, Fleetwood Mac, Freddie King, The Temptations, T-Bone Walker, Hoyt Axton, Robert Johnson, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Bob Dylan, and Elmore James.

The set includes smoldering takes on “Parchman Farm Blues,” “Killing Floor,” “Born Under a Bad Sign,” “Oh Well,” “Big Legged Woman,” and “Key to the Highway,” followed by the slow-burn groove of “Papa Was a Rolling Stone,” the smoky soul of “Stormy Monday,” and the gritty punch of “The Pusher.” SLASH also debuts a brand-new original, “Metal Chestnut,” before diving into “Cross Road Blues” and a fiery rendition of “Stone Free.” The encore features added favorites as a bonus including “It Takes a Lot to Laugh,” “It Takes a Train to Cry” and a blistering closer with “Shake Your Money Maker.”

Intercut with candid, behind-the-scenes interviews, SLASH reflects on his deep personal connection to the blues, sharing the stories behind the songs and his reverence for the artists who paved the way.
