So Zelensky wants Europe to form a united European fighting force and help them in Ukraine. Who would give them their orders? The EU currently run by failed German politician who was defence minister that left the German army using vans for transport and wooden guns on vehicles during NATO exercises?

Do you want these people conscripting your families to go and fight on the new Russian front?

Why do all these people want to escalate and stretch out the war?

I suppose our children will be packed off to this war while all the fit young age fighting men that have come here will be in their warm homes, and hotels deciding what to spend their benefits on.

These people have fled from supposed war in their countries so I am betting they would be paddling back to the next best place to fleece the system if war actually did break out.

But why does it seem everyone but Trump is looking to stretch out or even escalate this conflict? Should not every single peaceful effort to bring this to an end be tried first?

I wonder if Putin would even trust any peace deals considering NATO broke their agreements several times in the escalation to this war?

I for sure don't want our families sent to join in with this debacle. It will be like a replay of the old times with soldiers sent over the top by incompetent generals and leaders to run at enemy guns like lemmings.

Labour robbing the dead again!

Well robbing the living too but at one of the most traumatic times of your life.

Pension savers have been issued a stark warning after the new Labour Party government scrapped an exemption that allowed the elderly to pass on their pension pots tax-free if they died before age 75.

It means HMRC could potentially claim up to two-thirds of the inheritance. Michael Summersgill, chief executive of investment firm AJ Bell, has expressed his concerns to Chancellor Rachel Reeves in a letter, stating that the Budget proposal is "arguably the most complex and costly way of raising tax from unused pensions on death.

"If the government presses ahead with the proposals as written, it will risk fundamentally undermining the UK pensions system."

Summersgill suggested that there are far "simpler" methods for the Treasury to increase its revenue through the retirement savings system. He also highlighted the potential impact on higher-rate taxpayers, who could effectively face a 64 per cent tax rate on an inherited pension.

He shared his insights with the Financial Times, saying: "At what will be an emotionally challenging time for those close to the deceased . . . the process of distributing much-needed support will end up stalled in a much more complicated probate process."

Adding to the concern, Helen Morrissey, head of retirement analysis at Hargreaves Lansdown, pointed out: "If the process takes longer than six months to pay the inheritance tax bill then HM Revenue and Customs will start to charge interest, which will add extra headaches for families at what is already an extremely difficult time."

They are doing nothing to remove or deter people coming from terrorist hotspots who culturally view women as property.
